MAK stool was designed as a part of “Nomadic furniture 3.0. New Liberated Living? exhibition at MAK – Österreichisches Museum für angewandte Kunst / Gegenwartskunst. During the long night of museums in Vienna (5th of October 2013) we have built 200 stools together with 200 MAK visitors in three and a half hours. In the entrance hall of the museum we have set up an assembly line with moulds and tools to simplify the building process and separate the single steps from each other. So even children could build themselves a stool with a little help.
